Hi there, I’d be greatful if anyone could help with an issue I’m having that seems very strange to me.
I am creating a website that has a number of nav buttons on the home page. I’m trying to use these to jump to a frame and load a swf.
for some strange reason this only works with two of the buttons, the rest of the buttons when traced put out a wrong instance name, for ex instance121 instead of ch2, which it is named.
The strangest thing is that it all loads up fine, and the instances work for adding event listeners, it is only when i click the button and try to use the variable event.target.name that i get errors, as the instance it is putting out is wrong!
I hope this makes sense to someone! I don;t get it. Each button works fine as a button, i just cant use the instance name to call the swf and frame.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I’m pretty new to this.
