I thought this had better be placed in the AS3 area as it may be more useful being here.

I’m moving/migrating and learning AS3 with a simple project to begin with, and am pretty competent in AS2 for those providing responses. As i am learning i am still doing AS on the timeline, and keeping it simple to aid in my learning.

Basically i have a CD-Rom to produce, i’ll be making a projector when i export, this CD-Rom has 4 buttons, 3 linking to PDFs and one which links to an exe (installer for some software).

Now in AS2 i would have written fs commands to open these documents, but ideally i’d like to do this in AS3, so really my question is what am i looking for as the method to put in my button AS for its on click event to open the pdf/exe files.
